Join us for The Great Backyard Bird Count!

The Great Backyard Bird Count is a three day event sponsored by Cornell University's Lab of Ornithology. We are going to celebrate this year's count on Saturday, February 14th with the City of Cedar Hill and Traphene Hickman Library in a Park at Signature Park. We will be at the park from 9a-11a for a Big Sit. Come join us as we count how many different species we see and how many birds we see.

Not so great at bird identification? That's okay! We'll help you learn. 

Need binoculars? We have some you can borrow!

Have other events you need to attend this day? That's okay too! You can swing by and spend as much time as you want to help us count. If you only have 15 minutes to stop by, great! You can also stay the entire time if you want. Just get out here!
