Calling all young birders! Join us for the first meeting of the Cedar Hill Young Birders Club!
This club is for youth ages 12-18 that are interested in bird watching. All are welcome from experienced birders to brand new kids curious about birds and bird behavior. This is the first meeting to discuss what we are all about, when we will meet again, selecting council members (kids only), and determining how often and where we will bird!
Dogwood Canyon Audubon Center and Traphene Hickman Library in a Park are partnering to establish this exciting new club! Kiersten Gibizov, Center Coordinator Community Programs at Dogwood Canyon Audubon Center and Chelsey Randel, Teen Librarian at Traphene Hickman Library are spearheading this program.
If you are younger than 12, or have youth younger than 12, please contact Kiersten or Chelsey directly to discuss joining.
